In comparison to the first generation of Psilocybe cubensis Mondo\u00ae Hawaiian PES Grow Kit, the second generation includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Larger yields, more mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>More flushes*<\/li>\n<li>Better resistance against contaminations<\/li>\n<li>Different, but easier instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*some strains produce more flushes than others. The first three flushes are the largest.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet the new standard of easy grow kits<\/h2>\n<p>The Psilocybe cubensis Hawaiian PES Magic Mushroom Grow Kit XL differs somewhat from other grow kits you may have used. This is only seen in the substrate recipe and is a well guarded secret. Even not with us!<\/p>\n<p>You do not need to utilize any more spores, as with the previous and other quick grow kits. The spores evolved into mycelium inside the substrate (the cake) in the\u00a0grow box\u00a0during the laboratory process. Mycelium has colonized the substrate completely and is ready to grow mushrooms.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to store the grow kit correctly<\/h2>\n<p>It is recommended to start the cultivation process right away. If you decide to start growing later, you may store the grow kit in the refrigerator (2\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C) for 2 weeks. First, wrap the grow kit in a plastic shopping bag and close it well.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contents<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1x\u00a0grow box \u2013 This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)<\/li>\n<li>1x\u00a0grow bag\u00a0\u2013 The bag has a micron filter to keep contaminants out<\/li>\n<li>1x paperclip \u2013 For closing the grow bag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You need<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Misting Bottle \u2013\u00a0Misting is needed for the humidity level<\/li>\n<li>Potable water \u2013\u00a0For misting and soaking<\/li>\n<li>Clean environment \u2013 Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (micro organisms) no chance to contaminate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We recommend using<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Surgical gloves<\/li>\n<li>Facemask<\/li>\n<li>Disinfectant for hands<\/li>\n<li>Disinfectant for surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Soaking Bag<\/li>\n<li>Thermometer<\/li>\n<li>Thermo mat\u00a0(when room temperature drops below 18\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Close any open windows. Wind or draft may bring microorganisms that can contaminate the Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic Mushroom grow kit.<\/li>\n<li>When taking out the grow box with the cake from the carton box, put it on a disinfected surface. If this surface would not be clean, microorganisms may attach to the grow box and will flourish inside the Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic Mushroom grow kit and will contaminate the grow box.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you work with clean hands and arms. We recommend using surgical gloves or a good disinfectant when handling the kit. You should use a facemask to avoid breathing into the grow bag and on the cake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Starting the process<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Close the grow box well and let it soak for 12 hours.<\/li>\n<li>After 12 hours, pour the surplus of water out of the grow box.<\/li>\n<li>Place the grow box inside the grow bag. The open end of the bag should point upwards.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the lid from the grow box. Rinse the lid and store it in the carton box.<\/li>\n<li>Fold the open end of grow bag twice; do not cover the micron filter.<\/li>\n<li>Place the paperclip on the fold, so the bag stays closed. Now the Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic Mushroom grow kit is ready to grow.<\/li>\n<li>Place the Psilocybe cubensis Hawaiian PES Magic Mushroom Grow Kit XL inside the carton box, on top of the ziploc with lid.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temperature Of Hawaiian PES Magic Mushroom Grow Kit XL<\/h2>\n<p>24\u00b0C is the optimal temperature. The temperature should not go below 18\u00b0C and should not rise above 29\u00b0C. You can use a Thermo Heatingmat to keep the temperature from going below 18\u00b0C. In the winter or colder places of the world, a thermo mat is a must-have.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light<\/h2>\n<p>The Psilocybe cubensis Mondo\u00ae Hawaiian PES Magic Mushroom Grow Kit only need light to \u2018understand\u2019 that it has reached the surface. Only then will mushrooms sprout. A few hours of fluorescent\/artificial light or indirect sunshine per day is sufficient. Because direct sunlight destroys mycelium, keep the sun away from the grow kit.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Water \/ Misting<\/h2>\n<p>You begin misting the day after you begin the treatment. Remove the paperclip from the grow bag to open it. Spray once against each side of the bag rather than immediately on the cake. So you mist four times a day. Misting also allows fresh oxygen to enter the bag. Close the bag with the paperclip immediately after misting.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mushrooms<\/h2>\n<p>If the conditions are favorable, the first little mushrooms (the pins) should appear between 5 and 16 days. This is also determined by the strain. Some cubensis strains mature at a slower rate than others.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flushes<\/h2>\n<p>The mushrooms appear in clusters. This group can be tiny or large. That is determined by the strain. A flush is a type of growth like this. Mushrooms virtually seldom ripen all at once. A kit can provide more than one flush. The first two flushes are the most significant. More flushes will follow, each one smaller than the last.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Picking<\/h2>\n<p>When the veil between the hat and the stem has barely torn, the mushrooms are ripe and ready to be plucked. Don\u2019t put it off any longer. Put on surgical gloves or clean your hands, wrists, and arms. Pick only the ripe mushrooms and leave the others to develop.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the mushrooms from the cake by grasping the base of each mushroom with your thumb and index finger. Slowly rotate your hand clockwise until the mushroom lets go. Do not remove the mushrooms. This would endanger the mycelium and possibly kill it. Pick the tiny mushrooms and pins once you\u2019ve picked the majority of the larger mushrooms.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mushrooms that grow from the sides<\/h2>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to prepare the equipment for the next flush after you\u2019ve harvested all of the mushrooms. Disinfect your hands or gloves and remove the grow box from the grow bag. Half-fill the box with clean, drinking water. Remove the ziploc bag lid and close the grow box.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap the unopened grow box in a soaking bag or in a clean plastic shopping bag. Place it in the refrigerator (2\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C) for 12 hours, carefully closed. This is referred to as the soaking process. The cake will now absorb water, preparing it for the next flush.<\/p>\n<p>While the grow bag with micronfilter is soaking, hang it upside down to dry. Hang it upside down to keep bacteria out of the bag. Many growers like to use new and unused grow bags after each flush. Remove the soaking bag containing the grow box from the refrigerator after 12 hours and unpack it.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Soaking<\/h2>\n<p>After you\u2019ve harvested all of the mushrooms, you\u2019ll need to prepare the kit for the next flush. Remove the grow box from the grow bag using disinfected hands or gloves. Fill the box halfway with clean, potable water. Remove the ziploc bag lid and use it to shut the grow box.<\/p>\n<p>Place the unopened grow box in a soaking bag or wrap it in your own clean plastic shopping bag. Close it tightly and place it in the fridge (2\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C) for 12 hours. This is known as the soaking process. Water will now be absorbed by the cake, preparing it for the next flush.<\/p>\n<p>You can hang the grow bag with micronfilter upside down to dry while it is soaking. Hang it upside down to prevent bacteria from entering the bag. After each flush, many growers like to utilize new and unused grow bags. After 12 hours, remove the soaking bag containing the grow box from the refrigerator and unpack it.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next Flush<\/h2>\n<p>To proceed, repeat steps 3 through 7 as you did when you originally started the process. A new flush will occur a few days later. A Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic mushroom grow kit will yield at least two or three flushes. If you have cultivating experience, you can get more flushes out of a kit.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The end<\/h2>\n<p>When no more mushrooms grow from a grow kit after the second flush, or when the Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic Mushroom grow kit turns green, red, grey, or yellow, the grow kit can be thrown.<\/p>\n<p>The color shift signals that another fungus or bacteria has contaminated the grow kit. The Psilocybe cubensis \u2018Hawaiian PES\u2019 Magic mushroom grow kit is no longer producing mushrooms and should be put outside in the trash.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spores<\/h2>\n<p>When you pluck the mushrooms too late, they will drop their spores. Because of the spores, the cake and mushrooms will turn black\/purple (some other cogenesis strains will turn red\/brown).<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t a big deal; it just doesn\u2019t look very nice. When mushrooms release their spores, they begin to deteriorate and the active chemicals disintegrate.
